About this product

Printed Card Bookmarks

A bookmark spends its life inside a closed book, which makes thickness the specification that matters and the one nobody publishes. Too thick and it wedges the pages apart, splays the spine and eventually cracks the binding; too thin and it creases the first time the book is shut on it.

We quote the board in microns rather than describing it as premium or luxury, and we will tell you which weight suits a paperback and which suits a hardback library edition. It is a genuine difference and it costs nothing to get right.

Rounded corners are standard here because square corners on a card that lives in a bag are the first thing to go soft and dog-eared. Finish is a real decision too: laminated is tougher and slippery, uncoated is warmer and takes a pencil note, which matters for reading groups and libraries.

FAQ

Printed Card Bookmarks: quick answers

What is the minimum order for card bookmarks?
Minimum order is just 12 — with bulk pricing tiers as quantities grow.
How fast will my order arrive?
Your free mockup lands within 24 hours and the finished order ships in about 2 weeks — express turnaround is available for tight dates.
How thick should a bookmark be?
Thick enough not to crease and thin enough that the book still closes flat. We state the caliper in microns and will recommend a lighter board for paperbacks and a heavier one for hardbacks — a single spec for both is a compromise for one of them.
Laminated or uncoated?
Laminated survives a bag much better and is slippery, so it slides out of a book more easily. Uncoated is warmer to hold and can be written on. For libraries and reading groups, uncoated usually wins.
