What is the minimum order?

Our minimum order is just 12 bookmarks — enough for a launch or a single title — with bulk tiers that drop steeply at the thousands libraries and publishers buy in.

How fast will my bookmarks arrive?

Your free mockup lands within 24 hours and printed bookmarks ship in about 2 weeks. Die-cut shapes add a little for tooling on the first order only; the die is held for reorders.

How thick should a bookmark be?

Thick enough not to crease and thin enough that the book still closes flat. We state the caliper in microns on the quote and recommend a lighter board for paperbacks, heavier for hardbacks.

Laminated or uncoated?

Laminated is tougher in a bag and slippery, so it slides out more easily. Uncoated is warmer to hold and can be written on, which is why libraries and reading groups usually prefer it.

Why do tassels tear out?

Because the knot pulls against a bare punched hole and card tears from a hole. A metal eyelet spreads the load into the board and costs very little — it is standard on ours.

Will a magnetic bookmark mark the page?

Not at the grip we specify. A magnet strong enough to feel reassuring will emboss a thin page over months, so we tune the grip rather than fitting the strongest magnet we can.

Will a metal or leather bookmark damage a book?

Only if it is too thick. Both are supplied in a gauge and temper chosen so the book closes flat — a substantial-feeling bookmark that holds the pages apart is doing the opposite of its job.

Do you redraw artwork?

Yes, free. Send whatever you have and our design team sets it out for a long narrow format — and for magnetic fold-overs it has to be designed as a strip read from both faces and across the fold.
